Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him. – Psalm 32:10

Life is never going to be without trouble.

Where there is people, there will be issues and dramas. The unfortunate thing about this world we live in is that there always has been, and always will be, people that are just mean and wicked and out to hurt others. It doesn’t make sense, but it’s a part of the world we live in.

As followers of Jesus, we are not exempt from this. And whilst we may still experience pain and suffering at the hands of others, one thing we can hold onto is that Jesus is with us. His love is ever with us and surrounds us. Does this stop the pain and suffering from happening? No, it doesn’t. But what it does is give us hope. God’s unfailing love is with us, sustaining us, strengthening our hearts, surrounding us at every turn.

God pours His love out to us in abundance. As we trust Him, He will continue to pour His love over us. He will cover us with His peace. The Holy Spirit will continue to lead and guide us, telling us which way we should go.

The wicked will always be around. But so will Jesus. And they are no match for His power and might. No schemes of the enemy will prosper as long as we keep holding onto Jesus. Pain and suffering will come and go, but Jesus remains.

His love is enough.

His love is sufficient.

His love is all consuming.

His love is unfailing.

Hold onto Him today and know that no matter what you are going through, His unfailing love will get you through.
