For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls – Hebrews 12:3 NKJV

Consider Him. Consider Him who created you. Consider Him who created the heavens and the earth. Consider Him who makes the sun go up each day. Consider Him who has placed every star in the sky and calls each one by name. Consider Him who knew you from before you were born. Consider Him who left heaven and came down to earth to walk among us and show us the way to heaven. Consider Him who took on our burdens and shame on His shoulders; who went to the Cross as an atonement for our sins. Consider Him who was tortured and bled on the cross so that we would not have to deal with the consequences of our actions. Consider Him that took His last breath on the cross before laying in darkness for 3 before He was raised to life again; He that defeated death do that it would lose its sting over our lives. Consider Him that sits on the right hand of the Father advocating for us so that we can draw closer to God and have our home with Him when we breathe our last breath.

When life happens, let’s stop, take a breathe and Consider Him.

Father, thank you for your love for us, for a love so strong that You would send Your Son to die in our place. Can you help us remember Jesus; help us consider Him that took our place on the cross so that we could have eternal life with you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
