The Waiting Room

For most of my life, I have felt like I have had to wait for the things that I have really wanted. Not the everyday things, like waiting in line for a coffee, but the big things; dreams, hopes and desires. My life story has been one of waiting and as I have restlessly sat in this waiting room, I have learned some things about myself and about my Jesus. I’ve learned that it isn’t always about what we are waiting for, but how we are waiting.

I have learned many lessons in the Life Waiting Room, and this series is about sharing my waiting room journey; what I have learned; what I’ve messed up; and finally understanding that it is better to wait with Jesus than to rush ahead of Him. My prayer is that my lessons will encourage you to lean on Jesus more and see the beauty that can be found in waiting.
