Finding security in insecurity – Faith through my eyes.

I read a quote a little while ago that read, “You will be too much for some people. Those aren’t your people.” It was a quote that stuck with me so I took a screen shot of it and saved it to my phone so that I wouldn’t forget it. It’s a interesting quote and one that I have reflected on lately, especially the last couple of weeks as I have travelled around a lot and met a lot of new people. And can I say, the truth of that quote rally stood out to me as I tried to … Continue reading Finding security in insecurity – Faith through my eyes.

Faith as I see it.

The shopping centres are pulsing with people rushing around trying to get their shopping done and pick up excessive amounts of chocolate to hand out to people. You would think the apocalypse is coming with the way people are running around the grocery isles. Needless … Continue reading My Easter heart

Minute Devotions: Near.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted…Always. Without fail, every time I have been brokenhearted or felt crushed in spirit, He has been near. Every. Single. Time. He is close and near, even when I don’t always feel it or acknowledge it. He is gracious and kind, even when I am not. He is loving and forgiving, even when I am raising my fist to Heaven and raging at Him. He is kind and forgiving, even when I don’t deserve it. And goodness knows that I don’t deserve it at times. In the face of our humanness and our actions … Continue reading Minute Devotions: Near.
