Life is full of change. Every day, things change all around us; seasons, weather, people. Things are constantly changing and it can be hard to keep up with what’s what. But there is one thing that is unchanging, God.

Regardless of what is happening around us, God is unchanging. Hebrews 13:8 tells us that ‘Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever more,’ and He is. Regardless of what is happening around us, or within us, God doesn’t change. He hasn’t changed from the beginning of eternity and He won’t change now; He is steadfast and constant and faithful. And that’s good news for us because it means we can rest in His power. We can rest in the confidence that He is good. We can rest in the confidence that God loves us and won’t ever change His mind about us.
So today, take a moment to think on that and rest in His unchanging love and grace for you.

Lord, thank you for your unchanging love. For Your faithfulness and for Your promises. Father, we give You our hearts and our worries and all we have today and we rest in Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
