God is not a human being, that he should lie, or a mortal, that he should change his mind. Has he promised, and will he not do it? Has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? – Numbers 23:19 (NRSV)

Ever been let down by someone? Whether it is a betrayal or someone going back on their promise, we have all experienced hurt and disappointment at the hands of other people. When you’ve been repeatedly let down by people, trusting others becomes difficult. But there is One who is faithful and never breaks His promises, and that is God. God is faithful. Always. God has been and will continue to be faithful because it is who He is. He isn’t a human who is flawed but the Almighty who lovingly created you and wants what’s best for you. When it feels like He has turned His ears and eyes away from you, rest assured that what He promised you will come to pass. He will carry you, love you and never let you down.

Prayer

Loving Father, you are faithful. You never go back on your word and You always fulfill your promises, so we thank you for Your everlasting love and provision. We thank You for all that You have done and all that You are yet to do. Amen
