A year of hope.

Well, happy new year, folks. 2018 is well and truly behind us and we’ve settled into 2019. A new year, new opportunities and new seasons. I’ve been reflecting on 2018 and must say, it was a hard year. When the known is scarier than the unknown.

‘It’s the fear of the unknown.’ I’ve heard that quote many times. Many times. It’s always been an interesting quote to me because I find the concept of fear interesting. Fear fascinates me and slightly terrifies me. To me, there is generally three types of fear: the fear of something, like snakes or spiders or penguins, and that’s a totally valid fear because snakes and spiders and penguins are the devils spawn.
