And just like that, the new year has well and truly come and gone. The celebrations have settled down, the streamers have been pulled down, along with the Christmas decorations (mine, anyway) and everyone has gotten back into the daily grind. Well, people, 2016 is almost over. In a few hours the clock will strike midnight and a new calendar will tick over, taking us from December 2016 to January 2017.
